Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective Date: [January 1st, 2025]
This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines how Brockford Inn handles cancellations, credits, and refunds related to resident care, deposits, and other approved charges. This policy is provided for informational purposes and does not replace the terms outlined in individual residency or care agreements.
-
General Billing Policy
Charges billed by Brockford Inn reflect services rendered, deposits, or other approved fees associated with residency or care. All charges are considered final upon settlement unless otherwise stated in writing.
-
Cancellations
Cancellations must be submitted in writing. Cancellations received within 30 days may be eligible for review in accordance with Brockford Inn policies and the applicable resident agreement.
Cancellation eligibility may vary depending on the type of charge, notice provided, and timing of services rendered.
-
Refund Eligibility
Refunds, if applicable, are considered only upon settlement of charges and after all outstanding balances, fees, or adjustments have been applied.
Refund eligibility is determined on a case-by-case basis and is subject to the terms of the resident agreement, notice requirements, and services already provided.
-
Resident Discharge or Deceased Residents
In the event of resident discharge or death, Brockford Inn will review the account to determine whether a prorated credit or refund is applicable, based on services rendered through the date of discharge or death and the terms of the resident agreement.
Any remaining balance, credit, or refund will be addressed after final account settlement.
-
Deposits
Deposits, if required, may be refundable or non-refundable depending on the terms under which they were collected. Deposit treatment is outlined in the applicable residency or service agreement.
-
Payment Method for Refunds
Approved refunds will be issued using the original form of payment when possible or by another method deemed appropriate by Brockford Inn.
-
Third-Party Payment Processing
Payments made through third-party payment processors are subject to the processor’s policies and processing timelines. Brockford Inn does not control third-party processing delays once a refund has been initiated.
-
Policy Modifications
Brockford Inn reserves the right to modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
